Trash Disposal

When you've recycled all you can, here's where to dispose of your trash.

If you live in the city limits of Lafayette and West Lafayette, curbside recycling and trash services are provided by the Cities. Contact the Cities' Street Departments for information about curbside pickup (Lafayette Steet Department: 807-1411, West Lafayette Street Department: 775-5242). If you live in the county of Tippecanoe, a variety of private trash services provide trash pick up.

Composting can be done easily at home and used in gardens or lawns. Brush and yard waste can be taken to the transfer station at a small fee. See the composting tab for details and ideas for at home composting.
